What is Flowchart Viewer?
Argos Flowchart Viewer is a web-based tool designed for campaign developers and others to visualize marketing campaigns in their logical entirety through a quick, intuitive interface. The Flowchart Viewer uses XML files derived from Unica Affinium Campaign session files.
Features of Argos Flowchart Viewer
Argos Flowchart Viewer visually depicts each process interaction within an entire campaign. There is also a flowchart summary view from which you can drill-down into specific information on individual processes. With Flowchart Viewer, you can:
- Quickly access detailed information on each process via the drop-down menus
- View summary information for the entire campaign
- Alternate between the two views to understand a process's functioning within the overall campaign
- View process cell-level interactions (not possible in UAC)
- View any given process's input and output cells, segments, fields, etc.
- Flowcharts can be extended with metadata
Important Advantages
The multi-dimensional interface and temporally-ordered flowchart view offers advantages and vital information that was previously unavailable in UAC. Here are some examples:- Processes appear in sequential, step-by-step order, layered for optimal presentation
- Hierarchical, top-down view of the campaign and all of its elements (including the flowchart summary)
- Easily find isolated processes, unused cells, and branches without any output cells
- Flowcharts can be persisted in HTML and PNG file types, so they can be viewed without additional software, sent in e-mail, etc.
These features are effective for campaign analysis and documentation and for maximizing the efficiency of a campaign.
